Recently opened on the corner of Lougheed and Bainbridge, Howie's Bistro and Bar has already won a loyal clientele in the nearby neighbourhoods of Burnaby Mountain and Burnaby Lake. Chef and owner Howard Jang offers a delightful array of dishes to tempt your palate, including the popular 'Angry Prawns', 'crab cakes' and 'St. Louis Ribs'. Howie's Bistro and Bar focuses on West Coast fare with dash of Asian influence.
The restaurant's decor of red, black, cream and stainless steel offers a sleek modern feel while the ambiance is relaxed and comfortable. The main restaurant seats up to 120 in a mix of intimate booths and open table settings, complete with full sound and light system, dance floor and stage for parties. Add to this a semi-private solarium that seats an additional 40, and you have a perfect place for birthday celebrations, weddings and corporate and community events!
