I recommend this restaurant for the unique flavors, cultural experience, decor, and for the friendliness of the owner that takes care of you from start to finish!
Why not try new cuisine... some of my highlights were the babaghanooj, the fresh salad and the dessert made of shredded dough & warm cheese!
I would return...

Jerusalem Caf brings an exotic touch to the north end with its beautiful dcor. The front room has lots of natural light while the second room is red with cushioned stools. The owners of this new caf are equally impressive friendly, delightful people working hard to please customers.
My friend and I share the eggplant dip, Babaghanouj ($5.25). Its among the best Ive eaten with lots of garlic and lemon and well adorned with parsley. Were given a generous amount of accompanying pita bread.
But our fatayer spinach and meat turnovers ($2.50 each) are flat with not enough spinach or meat.
Chicken Maluba, ($12.49) features perfectly roasted chicken with slices of potato on a bed of rice topped with roasted peanuts and accompanied by a side salad. The flavour is mild, but nice.
With more attention to the bold and fresh flavours of Mediterranean cooking, Jerusalem Caf will be a winner.
All people who came and tried the falafel sandwich in the Jerusalem Caf said it is one of the best they have had ever tried before. So, every one is invited to try the sandwich with a special discount of the original menu price$ 6.50 until May 15, 2011.
The amount of the discount is only offered by the server in the Jerusalem caf. So, please ask for the discount when you order the sandwich.
Grabbed a coffee there this morning and a pastry with spinach. Both really excellent! The decor is beautiful and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful. I had a look at the menu, looks delish with good prices. This place may give Tarek's some good competition.
Went there for coffee and breakfast this morning, and it was delicious! As someone who is not very familiar with middle eastern cuisine, they were more than happy to help us out, and even give us a bit of background on how it was made. We will definitely being going back!
