Excellent food. hot, fast and ample. Staff are very pleasant to deal with and the food is well packed for travel to home. I love their Wor Won Ton soup. Since I do not like the more trendy styles of Chinese I have not eaten the 'hot stuff' but the dishes I do like are prepared properly. I live a bit away from this place but much prefer it to more advertised restaurants including the ones downtown. I have taken several visitors to the restaurant and they have also enjoyed the food and the neighbourhood atmosphere. I did not find the food greasy at all which another reviewer complained of but I don't eat the deep fried items. On the whole I have no complaints about this resturant. in fact I am on my way there tonight for dinner.
I love this restaurant. The food is tasty and inexpensive. The staff are always pleasant to deal with and it has a great neighbourhood atmosphere. Since I don't like the trendy Szechuan
food just plain old good Canadian style Chinese food I am very pleased with the food. I give
it five stars.
The Satay wasn't a Satay. The Crispy Ginger Chicken had little ginger, was not crispy and tasted like sweet and sour. The Szechuan chow mein was one big load of grease. No prawns, no mushrooms, no garlic, no heat and there was nothing Szechuan about it. Huge disappointment. Will not order again.
