Went Sunday Augusy 2 2015. 10 mim wair Ro be seated, was not busy, only using certain sections . After being seated 10 more mons before amy water etc was brougjt. Ten more mins for salads to be brought. My calamari and bay scallops were cool and rubbery. My wifes vegies and rice also cold. The only good thing was the snow vrab and butterfly shrimp, obviously the food was overcooked and not moving out of the kitchen fast enough. Hard to understand as 6 serversbwith 20 yables between them. My rating 2 out of 5.....
I went there with a date our first time out, my lobster tail was so dried up, his was fresh, the lady was cleaning the table, sprayed the table,while food was close by and exposed to the chemical she did not seems to care, long wait time, but when its done right its good, like the biscuits, food taste good, the errors can be easily improved if you people really care about customers. I will go back because the food taste good, but expecting some improvements.
Arrived 3:30 pm Friday. Parking no problem but looked jammed when we left. Obviously not busy at time of arrival. Seated immediately (with daughter). Service very good. Meal served timely. Salad, Clams starter, crab/lobster/shrimp main course. All good except the most important - the lobster. An axe would have come in handy to cut it and tiger teeth to chew.
I took my family for dinner and had a horrible time .The was cold and before the meal was over the kids were complaining about stomach crumps and feeling like wanting to throw up.We hurried and left .We paid 230.00 dollars and on our way home pulled in a coffee shop so the children could use the washroom by this time they were throwing up and the adults were getting cramps.W hen we got home all of us was sick ,We always keep Pepsobismel the pink stuff we all had that which helped .The 2 boys were sick for 2 to 3 days .I complained to customer service and was treated badly without applozing to us and given a coupon for 60.00 dollars after spending 230.00 .They didn't take any responslblty .The custer service is poorly trained and if somonelse has this experience go to the hospital and see a lawyer.
My boyfriend and I decided to stop at this location for dinner. We were greeted upon arrival, seated within minutes. Our servers name was Mohab, really nice gentleman. He brought our food in a timely manner, held a respectable conversation and kept a smile on his face. Our food was presented beautifully and tasted even better. The only complaint that I had was that it was way too cold inside which made it a bit uncomfortable. Overall I give my experience a 9.5 out of 10. We need more servers like Mohab. I will definitely be going back.
Me and my family went their for my Birthday when we got there it took 25min to seat us and when we got to our table it was cramped in with 3 other tables. The waiter took our drink order and took 20min to get it to them and my aunt ordered a Mojoto that is on there menu and out of 4 bartenders no knew how to make it and our biscuts where cold and hard and when my food came my fish was flat and testless my lobster tale was watery and tastless and the shrimp cassoral was full of oli and my roasted Potato's where not roasted they where fried this food was nothing but garbage... I will never go back to this location ever again.... Oh and our bill was over charged and the waiter tried to argue with us about it and when I asked another waitress for a glass of water sh said "sorry this isn't my table" and walked away
My family and I were there today, after waiting 25 minutes to be seated. Then after we were 15 minutes later they. And to take our orders. They appeared to renovate this restaurant in 2011, but they certainly didn't improve anything. I'm disabled and it took them forever to seat us. Then even though my friend asked for a table so we could move a chair and push my walker up to the tale out of the way. Instead they stuck us in a double booth at the back, near the kitchen which I could hardly get into and they wanted to take my walker and put it somewhere else, which I refused permission to do.. I wanted to leave right then but we would have had over two hours to wait for a ride and we were both hungry..
It took forever for the waitstaff to even acknowledge us, even though they had to detour around my walker to get to the kitchen. We almost had to almost trip someone and then they said it wasn't their section, but they'd send someone over.
When ordering we were told one of the items ordered wasn't available. I see this as a management problem and they didn't order enough of what was on special.. Having worked in the restaurant industry, this leads me to believe their food is prepared in a commissary, (outside the restaurant) frozen and microwaved in kitchen before service. They deny this, but if dishes are made fresh, how do they run out of them? I wasn't pleased at having to choose something else and wasn't offered any discount.
Since the restaurant is close to where we live, we decided to give them a second chance. We went of a Tuesday at lunch time, which was busy, but we figured they might do better early in the week and earlier in the day. In fact this time it was worse. We were told, yet again, something wasn't available we asked to see the Manager. It was clear by his demeanor that he wasn't pleased that we wanted to talk to him. I asked him strait out why they would be out of an advertised special so early in the day? We got a none committal answer, no apology. This time we had seen a cafe in the same building complex and we got up and left.
Beware, don't go to the Red Lobster at 3200 Dufferin Street, North York, if you have your mind set on one of their specials, or you want a hassle free lunch or dinner.
I have been going to this Red Lobster Since 1986. I have ask my wife to marry me in this Resturant. now the new managers that running it in 2010-2011 I have had they worst service 6 times in a row, the new manager on January 22 2011 came towards us and turn away when he saw that they screwed up with us again, it took more than 45 minutes just to get Appetizer and then another 1 Hour just to get main course not to mention the 40 minutes just to be seated. didnt even give a discount, I dont expect anything for free but if he just comer over and apologise that would have went a far way in this resturant.
Hi I ordered food to take out, it took them almost more than 1 hour for the order, and the order was all bad. I called to complain the manager he told me the waitress Elena did not work there, as it was her last day and told me he will mail a voucher which he did not, when I called him again he lied to me saying he mailed the vooucher. I think his name is Kevin.
