My fiance and I have been regulars at Boo's for about four years. I have nothing bad to say about the food. I will never return to this place again however, based on the way I was treated over the phone today be a male staff member (or perhaps the owner himself.)
Rank #6 of 13
The previous evening I went to Boo's after work with friends. Being in a particularly good mood I $10.00 tip on two beers. Today I noticed I have misplaced a pocket knife that I use at work. I figured there was a chance it fell out of my bag at Boos so today I called to ask if anyone had found it. A female answered and I told her I may have lost my pocketknife. While she was looking into it the phone seemed to cut out.. I called back and a male answered. I began to say it is possible I dropped my pocketknife if they find it maybe they could call me back. The man cut me off and snapped at me: "We don't have your knife, and we aren't calling you back." and then hung up on me! WTF.
In total both calls lasted a total of about 15 seconds I was stunned. There was absolutely no reason to speak to me this way. I work in the restaurant industry. Whoever said this to me (I can only think of two males who work front of house, near the phone. I was either speaking to their seemingly jovial bartender, or equally seemingly nice owner. One of them just lost Boo's a regular guest and earned a serious G.F.Y. in this review. My only wish is I could take my $10 tip, crumple it up and flick it in the face of whomever answered the phone.
