We love all the Terronis and now we are going to talk about the Balmoral Terroni. The food is very good, and we have always experienced excellent service, to the point that we chose it for a birthday celebration . We had 30 guests enjoying good food and friendship. Ana is a great hostess and helped us to choose the menu well.#birthday #cheese #love #pasta #restaurant Respond
I am reading the previous revues and I can assure everyone that if Ana had been in the restaurant things would have been different. Maybe the clients were not lucky with their waiter/waitress. On one occasion I also requested parmesan cheese with sea food pasta and got the same negative response. I did not get offended. By the way I would like to let all know that if you make the same request in Italy you will get the same answer. No parmesan cheese with sea food pasta!
The Terroni is always full, you have to line up to get seated. If it was not a good the place it would not be so crowded every day. I love their funghi absoluti, their gnocchi with tomato sauce, tenderloin, pizzas and their great deserts.

Three of ua went to Terroni at 1 Balmoral yesterday. The atmosphere is great when you walk in but we had to sit in the smaller section, which definitely does not have the ambience of the larger room, but it was busy so we understoood.#cheese #eat #pasta #restaurant #style #toronto #wine Respond
We had to send the first carafe of the red house wine back because it was "corked".
I ordered the spaghetti with seafood. It did state in the menu that it was not served with cheese since that would affect the flavour. I didn't realize how serious they were about this. When I asked for parmesan, I was refused. I asked again and was refused again by not only one but also another server who came to assist the first server with the refusal, waving her hands to signal no. I insisted and said I would take full responsibility for my infraction. I managed to convince one of these pasta police to grind a miniscule amount of cheese on a separate plate and I put it on my pasta myself. Quite the performance. And to top it off, one of the mussels on this elite pasta that shall see no cheese was completely closed, so I didn't eat it.
I felt like asking for ketchup.
Another case of a Toronto restaurant with style and attitude over substance.

From the moement we arrived we encountered attitude from the hostess and wait staff. My brother oredered spaghetti with tomato sauce but it was lightly covered with it. When he asked for more he was told that they make only enough sauce for each dish. We could not believe that for we have never been refused extra sauce at other restaurants even if they had to whip some up (plus you need sauce on hand when making pizza). She also told him this want not home where you can get extra sauce (like we never eat out). In the end she gave us sauce (1 mintue after asking for it) but said we would be charged and again could not believe that. She gave us the impression though that she had waived the fee but lo and behold it was on the bill. Now the $2.50 is not going to break our bank but it is the prinicpal. We will never go there again. Terroni has pasta dishes which are unique but simple flavours. I love the gorgonzola with walnuts - Pasta is cooked perfectly and you don't leave the place hungry.#love #lunch #pasta #sandwich Respond
Pizza's from $11 to $15 Pasta's $14 to $16
I also ordered a grilled panini for my next day's lunch which travelled and keep until the next day. For the price of McD's I had a sandwich everyone at the office was drooling over!
