Xam Yu Seafood Restaurant is one of the most delicious restaurant in Toronto. With fast service and a welcoming environment, Xam Yu is a well respected and loved restaurant throughout Toronto. Xam Yu has over 100 dishes on the menu and styles of food ranges from seafood to Cantonese. Dishes such as the Hong Kong Style Soft Shell Crab which are crabs that are deep fried with the shells. The golden crispy crabs are then cooked with many spices bringing very delectable flavours into the dish, forming a creative and mouther-watering entree.
Seafood is the key focus at Xam Yu. Seafood ranges from Lobster to uncommon but very appetizing seafood such as the Geo-Duc Clam or the Turbot, which is a fish that lives at the very bottom of the sea. The most famous or well known dish is the Ginger Onion Lobster which comes in a pair of lobsters for only $28.95 Canadian. The Ginger Onion Lobster appears to be a simplistic dish, but to cook it perfect and scrumptious as Xam Yu, is nearly impossible.
If seafood is not your desire, Xam Yu offers many dishes of meat and vegetables. Chef recommended would be the General Tao Chicken and the Snow Pea Greens with KIng Mushrooms.
After eating at Xam Yu seafood restaurant, I've come to the conclusion that Xam Yu is the finest seafood restaurant in Toronto. Xam Yu is worth dining over and over again. With great service and unsurpassed food, Xam Yu is more than enjoyable.
